Duzela is frequently prescribed for managing generalized anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, nerve pain linked to diabetes, fibromyalgia, and chronic muscle or joint discomfort. The active component in Duzela is Duloxetine Hydrochloride. Additionally, Duzela is utilized to address a chronic pain condition known as fibromyalgia, to alleviate pain resulting from nerve damage in diabetes patients (diabetic neuropathy), and to relieve chronic musculoskeletal pain, including discomfort from osteoarthritis and persistent lower back pain.
Follow your doctor's instructions precisely when taking Duzela. Avoid taking more or less than the prescribed amount or using it for an extended period. Your physician may occasionally adjust your dosage to ensure optimal effectiveness. It's advisable to take Duzela at the same time every day. Do not crush, chew, split, or open a delayed-release capsule; swallow it whole, as altering the capsule may result in the drug being released far too quickly.
You might not notice an improvement in your symptoms for 4 weeks or longer. Continue taking Duzela as directed. Do not discontinue its use without consulting your doctor first, as abruptly stopping Duzela may lead to unpleasant side effects.
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any symptoms of an allergic reaction to Duzela, such as skin rash or hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat. Inform your doctor about any new or worsening symptoms, including mood or behavior changes, anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, feelings of impulsiveness, irritability, agitation, hostility, aggression, restlessness, hyperactivity (mentally or physically), increased depression, or thoughts of suicide or self-harm.
Contact your doctor immediately if you encounter any serious side effects while taking Duzela, such as nausea, upper stomach pain, itching, loss of appetite, dark urine, pale stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), fainting, agitation, hallucinations, fever, rapid heartbeat, overactive reflexes, very stiff (rigid) muscles, high fever, sweating, confusion, rapid or irregular heartbeats, tremors, easy bruising, unusual bleeding, painful or difficult urination, headaches, concentration difficulties, memory issues, weakness, unsteadiness, loss of coordination, fainting, seizures, shallow breathing, or halted breathing.
This is not an exhaustive list of side effects; others may occur.
